Participants will explore how accommodations serve essential, immediate needs, while universal design builds systems, spaces, and practices that naturally support a wide range of abilities from the start. Through real-world examples and interactive discussion, we’ll examine how shifting toward a universal design mindset can reduce stigma, increase accessibility, and create better outcomes for neurodivergent individuals and the broader community.
