Jhon F. Londoño, Ph.D., brings more than 30 years of corporate, entrepreneurial and non-profit experience, including 21 years in executive and leadership positions in the non-profit sector, leading organizations that serve Latino, BIPOC, and systemically underserved communities, as well Board service in 501c3 nonprofits and Chambers of Commerce.



Presently, Dr. Londoño is the inaugural Executive Director of the RTL Foundation in Denver’s historically black Five Points neighborhood. Under his leadership, the Foundation launched the BIPOC Nonprofit Development Center (BNDC) – the country’s first incubator for BIPOC-led and serving nonprofit organizations and Social Entrepreneurs.

Dr. Londoño led recruitment of the BNDC’s inaugural cohort of 24 nonprofits, organizations which already serve more than 185,000 Coloradans in myriad areas including economic and workforce development. The investment in the build-out of the BNDC in Five Points stands at $2.8 Million, and Dr. Londoño leads all business and fund development, securing investments from leading corporations, private foundations and Individual donors in support of the BNDC, as well as public sector investments from the City and County of Denver, the State of Colorado.

Previously, Dr. Londoño was Vice President of Development and Communications for Warren Village in Denver, an organization that provides transitional housing and education services to single parent families and their children. During his tenure, Warren Village’s revenue reached an all-time high of $11 million.

A native of Colombia, Dr. Londoño is fully bilingual and was the first in his family to graduate college and later earn a Ph.D. in engineering, from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He is also a proud 2019 alumni of the Latino Leadership Institute at the University of Denver.

Diagnosed ADD as an adult, Dr. Londoño is the proud father of two boys, the youngest of whom is on the Autism Spectrum and diagnosed ADHD.
