In The News - Channel 9

The Colorado Neurodiversity Chamber of Commerce was recently mentioned in the news. On October 18th, 2022, an opportunity arose to be interviewed by Denver's Channel 9 News.

During this interview, co-founders Danny Combs, Tiffany Feingold, and Dr. Amanda Kelly discuss a series of topics.

Danny Combs discusses his feelings on creating the first neurodiversity focused chamber of commerce in the United States (and maybe the world!). As Danny says in the interview, he is incredibly proud of the work they have been able to accomplish thus far, but the chamber is only their first step in bringing light to the problems faced in the neurodivergent community.

Dr. Amanda Kelly touches on neurodivergent conditions and the opportunity facing corporate America to become more equitable and open to neurodivergent practices. For example, recent statistics show that 85% of autistic college graduates are unemployed. It is estimated that around 40% of neurodivergent individuals are under or unemployed. As businesses look to hire new talent, this is an extremely untapped market of skilled workers that is being overlooked.

Tiffany Feingold uses her time on air to discuss the future goals of the CNDCC. With the platform established, their goal is to lift up the neurodivergent community and voices to create more opportunity.

The CNDCC is accepting new members, in the form of large businesses or individual chamber members. You can find out more at their website, or watch their latest television interview at the link below.
